iesus nazarenus rex iudaeorum
iesus nazarenus rex iudaeorum
md5: 364a467b5317a09e9383f7cb3215f025🔍
iesus nazarenus rex iudaeorum is mistranslated as, "Jesus of Nazarene, King of the Jews". The correct translation is "Jesus of Nazarene, Leader of Judea".

Rex and king are held to be synonymous for all intents and purposes, it's literally the latin title for King, not "leader". Iudaeorum explicitly means of the Jews, not Judea, the place. This is hair-splitting nonsense anyway, you should die.
By the way, the place is called Nazareth. Nazarene denotes someone from Nazareth. If you wanted to render it correctly. It would be "Jesus [the] Nazarene, King of the Jews" by making this mistake you betray not having any understanding of Latin.

Wrong
Iūdaeōrum is the genitive plural form of Iūdaeus meaning "Jew"

Judaea itself means land of the Jews in Latin so it is irrelevant semantics

No. Judaeroum in Latin means "of the Jews", and I would assume that Pontius would have written that inscription in Latin

There's a difference between Judahite and Judea. In the Roman Province of Judea, everyone was clustered together which means Canaanites and Edomites were considered "Judeans".

How else do you cope with the fact that you worship a jew and follow a jewish religion as an antisemite? It's funny watching these people squirm.
