Galatians 1:8-9
>But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
Gee, no wonder Muslims have to just resort to side with the Quran no matter what. This one Bible verse alone destroys their entire religion.

Galatians was written by Paul. Who is Paul? Did he even meet Jesus pbuh ever? Nope. Why do we care what he thinks? He is the one who steered the Church away from James' teachings and Hellenized Christianity. He was a fierce opponent of Christianity at the beginning too before he suspiciously had a change of heart.

>Did he even meet Jesus pbuh ever?
Of course, on the road to Damascus, plus he met the apostles whom they all embraced him.
>Nope.
Yep, he met Peter, James, Matthew, Luke, Mark and the rest. Which is far better than Moh who lived centuries after him and never even met anyone who spoke with Jesus
>Why do we care what he thinks?
Because he met Jesus and the Apostles and was guided by the Holy Spirit.
>He is the one who steered the Church away from James' teachings and Hellenized Christianity.
Source?
>He was a fierce opponent of Christianity at the beginning too before he suspiciously had a change of heart.
You don't believe that people can have a change of heart?

>contrary to the one we preached
What if I told you that the direction provided by that angel did not contradict their gospel... but that the modern mainline interpretations of Islam do.

Do you think Paul would be able to pick out Jesus from a police lineup of 1st century Judeans?

So said Paul

So said Paul. And even if they did, he had a falling out with them years later.
>Because he met Jesus and the Apostles and was guided by the Holy Spirit.
So says Paul
>Source?
His letters. His message is a clear departure from what the historical Jesus taught and the church in Jerusalem taught

So many modern people take Paul at face value and believe everything that he wrote. The problem is that many of his contemporaries didn't write anything down. So people years later only have Paul's version of events (and "Luke") in their heads, they don't have anything else.

If this is your problems with Paul it just seems like a ridiculous double-standard to not levy the same concerns against Muhammad
