were there ever in history any good guy versions of people like 'trump' or 'hitler', or is every politician or powerful person supposed to be bad by default
>>17868825 (OP) > Julius Caesar A populist strongman who drained the swamp (Senate), built infrastructure, and got shanked by elites for it. > Andrew Jackson Absolute madman who told bankers to GTFO (killed the central bank) and won a war solo.
Even Hitler had pre-1939 based moment for 'saving Germany' from hyperinflation/degeneracy. The problem is that power corrupts, and history’s full of based-to-cringe arcs.

>>17868825 (OP) I guess Atatürk is claimed as a good guy? Pilsudski?
>>17868825 (OP) Good guys and bad guys are all a matter of perspective. Mostly humanity doesn't like barbarism, so massacring entire cities or having a systematic well-oiled genocide machine doesn't sit well with lots of people. But most people believe of themselves that they are the good guys.
