What was one of the most based things Hadrian did other than crushing the Bar Kokhba revolt?

Arranging construction of the Pantheon and other architectural marvels in Rome despite him hardly spending time in the city itself.

> Hadrianโ€™s Wall
"build the wall" to own the barbarians

also literally wrote FUCK OFF (LATIN: ABICITO) on a soldier discharge papers for being a little bitch

also ditched Trajan overextended conquests to stabilize Rome, unironically smarter than 99% of imperatorcels

Should divide the land into protectorate duchy and kingship

Destroying the asshole of a greek sissy obviously. And building a wall, making Rome pay for it and staying the fuck out of Scotland. Foreigner! Until that Servian git came here. But whatever his dynasty was nothing more than seething Semite reeing at Rome. Kinda brings it full circle.

If someone found the great Aelius chilling in the Elysian Fields and told him he is very popular in some obscure forums for curb stomping an insignificant Levantine tribe, he would be deeply insulted and may even rape the unfortunate messenger.
Hadrian probably forgot about Judaea the minute he stopped smelling its smouldering ruins. For him it was just some minor inconvenience. He accomplished much more than that. The only emperor to have visited all provinces, an efficient and effective ruler who put state interests first and tried his best to revive the moribund Hellenistic culture. Moreover he picked a more than worthy successor like Nerva and Trajan had done, therefore buying the Romans at least one more generation of peace and prosperity which is no small task.

Because he wanted it all wrapped up asap so he could get back to more important business
literally took half the standing army, maybe as a show of force to other like-minded provincials as well

Purged most of Trajan's loyalists to completely destroy and obliterate that overrated shithead's nonexistent succession plans. Also retreated from his retarded forever war in Parthia. It took 2,000 years for the Trajan dickriding to cease but people are finally starting to wake up to the fact that he's the most painfully mid emperor of them all and finally appreciate Hadrian as the superior princeps.

he literally travelled around the empire and consolidated it. it's his merit that antoninus pius could just chill all the time in italy.
