Philosophers love justifying bloodshed when it fits their narrative. Carl Schmitt unironically argued that true sovereignty is the power to declare enemies and exterminate them "for the state’s survival". Hegel’s "world-historical individuals" get a free pass on atrocities because "progress". Even Marx handwaved genocide as "historical necessity". Stay schizoid.
