The Welsh circumvented eternal damnation by simply doing what Jesus did and absorbing the sins of others.

Catholics seething!

Bring back sin eating!

This is what sin eaters do, that is what Jesus did. It's also what the Jewish chicken does when they cut it's head off.

You can not transfer sin through canibalism, that is the same reason why it is pointless for the uncalled to say they claim a place in the kingdom through flesh and blood consumption. the spirit is non transferable.

it is not transferable. There is repentance and judgement, and in Christ the spirit is made holy in unification with the Father's will.

I think you're confused. A person repents their sins, but perhaps their body is no longer functioning or they've been cast out by the church. Guess what? A nice fella says, it's cool, I got you homie. And that fella feels ease in his last moments. His soul rests. Sin eating is no different than any other process to heaven.

Seethe.

Well, there is the light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to. The next resurrection of the body of God is going to be carried out by his people when they have no other recourse for to save themselves from death, when they have no other path for salvation against the world which has always wanted to destroy them. Then the glorification of heavenly kingdom can resume again, its people once more aware of themselves and unblinded.

Sin-eating as a practice is never actually directly attested in any primary source, it's always "I heard they did this" or "the local vicar tried to stop them doing this" or "they used to do this but not anymore". It was probably made up by John Aubrey in the 17th century, and he seems to have got it by misunderstanding the concept of a funeral dole.
