soviet-invasion-of-poland-a082d1a0-c6f3-4761-89b0-639df1c7091-resize-750
when the Germans invaded Poland in September 1939, Britain and France declared war on Germany. Yet when the Soviet Union invaded Poland that same month, the West . . . yawned.

They didn’t want to fight both the Nazis and Soviets, that would’ve been too daunting a task for them. They understood that the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact didn’t constitute an actual military alliance and were content with a “neutral” USSR.

The plan was to defeat the soviets after Germany had been defeated. Germany was closer and at the time more industrialized, they were the primary threat, USSR was secondary.
They wanted to confront the USSR in 1945 but America said no.
They were never content with USSR taking 1/4 of Europe, but also recognized that this only happened because of Germany.
If it wasn't for Hitler, the ussr would never have invaded.
They won in 1990.

They did try to explore different means to confront the USSR, by the Scandinavian expedition and Operation Pike.

The Jews didn’t have a raging hatred for the USSR like they did Germany.
>NOOO THE PEOPLE WHO SAY THIS ARE HECKIN RACIST CHUDS
that is the sole reason you won’t accept this very reasonable very powerful explanation which requires zero mental gymnastics compared to your “explanation”.

A better question is, what would've happned if Germany and Poland made a deal to attack the USSR together.
The bongs and frogs wouldn't have a casus beli for declaring war, and the Axis would've had much more resources in the Eastern Front.
Then you add Japan, which would most likely join the fight, seeing how the odds are much more favourable.

And you get a 90% chance the Soviet Union would've been destroyed.

If only the Poles and Germs employed a little bit of pragmatism and forward thinking in their calculations...

You're basically admitting that you're a low IQ monkey since you frown on anything with layers of complexity, especially geopolitics. Well done.

Britain also wanted Overlord to be directed in the Balkans instead of France, specifically to roadblock the USSR.

Britain were also the first to antagonize the USSR with the "iron curtain" speech, while the US still believed they could be partners with USSR.
