jesus definitely existed but he wasn't a god, probably wasn't even on the level of a saint, really. porphyry argued quite aptly that jesus wasn't even a good man, citing his prayer in the gethsemane gardens requesting god to spare him, despite knowing for a fact that his death was 1. a special destiny planned directly by god and 2. that his death was necessary for the redemption of all of mankind.
most people in that position would not have the chutzpah to ask god to change his plan on everything. a truly devoted man would probably be proud and happy to do this service for his lord. instead jebus asked to be freed of his destiny as the messiah, lol.

Well considering large parts of it were 'fulfilled' and then discarded without much input from the people the covenant was made with, that's not necessarily true.
In fact, the fulfillment of the covenant thing is disquieting to me. How does one know this won't happen again? Or that it has not already happened. For all you know, the almighty has already pulled the rug under you; abrogated communion, established something new, anotated the prophecies without you even knowing it. I'm not sure there's any objections you could raise to this that the Jews could not.
