Can you be a Roman Catholic while also not thinking the Pope and the Church are infallible, and disagreeing with them on certain matters?

Jesus didn't write the book, the Apostles did, and they were the first generation of the Church. Therefore, the Church is prior to the Bible, and the Bible comes from the Church.

You’re both an embarrassment. Christ left us a witness of word and deed. That witness is known to us virtually exclusively in NT texts, so far as the preservation of reliable first-century traditions are concerned. The church was formed from those words and deeds, especially the interpretation given by Jesus, Paul, and the rest of the NT witness concerning Christ's atoning death and life-giving resurrection. There isn’t any other reliable treasure trove of traditions that can be reliably traced back to the apostles or Jesus.
