>the United States places 120,000 of their own Japanese-American citizens in internment camps with a death rate of less than 1%. The US releases them after the war and pays reparations
>Absolutely despicable! This is proof that Amerikkka is a racist irredeemable nation! A black sin our nation will never wash out!

>The Soviet Union forcibly deports 170,000 of their own ethnic Korean citizens to Central Asia, killing 50,000 along the way, while not at war with Japan but out of the racist idea of "omg they're both Asian, the Koreans will probably be loyal to Japan!"
>no one cares
Genuinely what causes this? Why are America's sins amplified while everyone elses but Germany gets forgotten or ignored?

Korea was actually part of Japan in WWII. The difference was like between Germany and Quisling’s Norway or something, there were different languages and such but ultimately they were collaborators who worked together against the countries they invaded.
