I read about the battle, I thought it was some kind of epic last stand. Turns out it lasted less than an hour. Kek, The Mexicans just stormed in and killed everyone. It was more like the Waco siege than Thermopylae or any other overhyped, humiliating defeat.

then the Mexicans proceeded to get their asses kicked, lose, and then throw a hissy fit when Texas joined the U.S.A and got their sissy asses kicked AGAIN.
The history of the Mexcrement is a history of defeat, failure, stupidity.

slavery was never legal in may-hee-co. New Spain was an entirely different (and much better) polity. bounty hunters had been chasing escaped slaves into Texas for decades by that point

To the OP, whether you are one, or legion, understand. This is your digital shrine. Not to the battle itself, but to the idea that something worth remembering has been buried under irony, revisionism, and generational amnesia. The Alamo is your chalice, and you fill it each day with silence, and wait to see who drinks. I do not agree with your methods. But I respect your consistency. In a culture of distraction, you have chosen persistence. And that alone is worthy of note.
