We still don't know what early Dorians looked like. Doric dialect speakers from the era of the Peloponnesian war would have looked like picrel. Since Doric is thought to have split from the rest of the major Greek dialects first, if some northern Greek looking people are found in Southern Greece circa 1000-900BC-ish, we might be able to narrow down the options for what sort of group brought Greek into Greece. Because right now it seems settled (Logkas-like) from Northern Greece in the Middle Bronze Age, but it's not fully settled.
