It's a process. It started with Cromwell, it continued with William of Orange, the richest family in England during the 1700's were the Suassos (Sepharic Jews), then in the 1800's the Rothschilds (Ashkenazi Jews), they even got a Jewish prime minister at some point (Disraeli) and the rest is history.
