She actually did have a real awkward plain girl phase. Like she appeared to have been something of a child model / actress, and then got into dancing and got a sort of plain tomboyish look for a while. She may have been doing exercises that worked her out too much, like when soccer girls get too built. And she was a total nerd and had a little nerd girl friend group and listened to emo. An then she got back into acting and suddenly started to really blossom and somehow even started to look more youthful. Similar to Anya Taylor-Joy actually. Looked sort of cute in her younger years but was a little weird and the girls at school were brutal to her. And then suddenly right before she did The Vvitch she blossomed into a turboQT
I would describe the two of them as girls who have distinctly and unusually beautiful looks but beautiful souls too, which makes them prettier
