It's possible Emma's just bashful and picky with guys, and taking her time (or just very discreet, which is possible). I do have a feeling that her kiss with Georgie on the show was her first time kissing a guy.
I could def see her closeness with girls more of a comfort zone, and that flirty-affectionate thing they all do with each other normal girl-friend chatter. They do, after all, literally all act that way together. My read of her is more something in her face. It's not lesbo-face, exactly, but what looks like bi-face, which is just a kind of face certain people have where you could genuinely imagine them being into a guy or a girl. Lesbians have an even more hardened face, with a coldness that doesn't seem to have any warmth for men. She doesn't quite have that. But I could see her finding girls attractive too, and even a little more than just every girl can find girls attractive.
Bis are also different from straights or full gays though in there will be aspects that feel a little more on the tomboyish or fem side than a fully straight person, but not as much as a gay would be. And they don't get with full-on gay types. Bi girls actually get with attractive females that guys would be attracted to, who are usually also bi. I don't know. I hope she isn't inclined to experiment, or too much, because I think it hurts peoples' abilities to have stable longterm relationships later. But it's hard when you're in a creative environment and everyone is pretty in a unique way and enjoying newfound freedom and they're all gifted and impressive. It's an environment that really brings out bi experimentation too. College, art school, creative industries, etc. Speaking as someone who's been there and can recognize myself in that kind of person.
