It's not, btw. Ethnicity is a subcategory of a racial group. Like spanish and french are both whites, but their ethnicity is based on their language and culture. A chink speaking english isn't an ethnic english, obviously. Same goes for los ogros de las americas and spaniards.

Oh, let's ignore the fact that human sacrifice indians aren't at all similar to iberian peninsula european peoples culturally, but even if that was the case, how the USA census find it useful.to classify people on a "cultural" basis? I thought it was necessaty to recognize suspects using their physical features, aka race. Apparently cops or feds go around looking for a random spanish speaker instead. Great job mutts!
