(These are all observations/assumptions.)

1. For the brush, he uses the pencil from paint tool sai, with the paper texture preset
2. He sketches very loosely, can be seen in the ref I provided
3. he creates a layer underneath the lines to define the base colors
4. In that same layer he renders most of the shading out
5. He usually uses multiple colors for each shade, and doesn't use blending or mixing tools often
(5.1. eyes are usually grey and background is usually pure white)
(5.2. uses desaturated grey and other desaturated colors next to saturated colors on the skin to imply blush and subsurface scattering)

6. He creates a layer above colors and lines to clean up whatever stray lines or weird shading he did in steps 4, and 5.
7. Jerks off to whatever he made
