Literally highlight your very own post and hit “google search”. Gives you the answer.

All of them are wrong. The right thing to do was study hard and become a doctor or lawyer.

I gave you my insight and what I use. You want free, you get ads in the program. Go draw.

Which Ipad do you have? I have an Ipad 7with the 1st gen Apple pencil.

I’m using a free app called Medibang, it has ads but it also has free tutorials.

Procreate is infinitely better than any of them. Ibispaint X is the next best free one, but it kinda fucking sucks in its free form. Just spend the 12 dollars, that's chump change.

That sounds kinda nice. Not OP, but I'm feeling lost drawing on this thing, it's so easy to mess up. The screen is all slippery and the pressure shit is so weird, I could've sworn something was wrong with the pen or screen for a good 30 seconds.

I think most drawing apps give you the option to turn off the pressure setting. You’ll get used to the glass screen.

Nta but have tried most free iOS drawing apps and Medibang is probably the least shitty one.
Paid ones like Csp and affinity are just leagues better, and having a screen that isnt covered in ads is well worth it even if its something you’re doing as a hobby.
Procreate is just alright in my opinion. not as feature rich as csp and affinity, with less customisation overall. I hate the touch gestures, personally, because I prefer using an 8bitdo for shortcuts, and default brushes honestly kind of suck, but it’s not a bad program if you feed it some new ones.

did you even get a good ipad? if you didn't, you are gonna end up not being able to use many layers or do more heavy files.
