Been grinding refs, master studies, ect like a good little boy but my art has gotten progressivley worse. Should I just quit if im incapable of making and retaining progress. I desperatley want to be good at this so bad so I can earn approval in my life but I think I cant become good at anything

I dont want advice because I've posted on here so much and been told I need to do master studies or I need more appeal or this or that. I've had no shortage of advice and yet i've been told i've regressed. I dont want to whine about why my shit sucks, then get given advice I already know. I just want to know if it's worth pursuing something that showing no or negative results despite daily practice.

Depends on your goals. If you're doing this for fun, then yeah, keep going. What's wrong if you're having fun? There's no rush.
If we're talking about something you want to make a skill for a career, then changing course is definitely on the table.
pyw so we can see what you're doing now.

Career/ I have no other redeeming skills so it very much feels like a sunk cost fallacy. I enjoy it but am never able to draw what I want and feels like I'm drawing with a stick up my ass so I'm wondering if its just wasted effort. That was the last rendered thing I did. Again, I'm not lacking advice as I've been given plenty, its just that I apply it and have gotten worse over the course of months

If you're not applying your studies then those studies are wasted. Wasted studies imo are the most insidious thing and probably most of the reason why people don't progress
It give the illusion of progress because you're drawing but it doesn't really absorb if you don't apply it outside the context of your study

for how long do you draw? Like how many years?
The image look good in the thumbnail, but zoomed in it lacks fundamental knowledge (mileage).

8 years as a casual hobby. About 2 actually getting humbled how bad I am and learning as much as I can with trial and error

i also do it a long time as a casual hobby, always took long break inbetween ... but i somehow improved, idk how but yea... maybe i set the bar so high and knew i couldn't get to that skill level, yet tried to get to a decent level, i'm not close to it, yet it works. So yea it really depends, but in your case, maybe search another hobby or keep draing for yourself and look for another career, you have to know what's the ebst for you in your case.

>maybe search another hobby
I'm just worried i'll never become competent at anything. I have no value as a human and am extremley depressed and angry so at the very least I wish I could be good at something productive. Drawing is something I have a genuine passion for but my autistic brain is betraying me

If you believe you have no value, how will you expect to find value in your art? That doesn't lign up. Either you find value in you again and reflect that in your art or you stay the same and reflect that "i have no value" in your art.
