What website should I post my drawings to if I want people to actually see? I want to build a following by posting cute girl pictures and maybe make some money along the way. I don't care how long it takes because I will win.
Where on the internet have you seen the most success? Got any general survival tips or strategies for someone starting from scratch?

All of them. The more websites you post on, the more people see your work.

Really, any site that has people on it, but let's be honest, people want as big of an audience as possible, and so that really only leaves twitter, Instagram, and facebook.
If you're willing to have a smaller niche audience, that opens up other sites - but given your aim, there's no point in discussing them.
Pick a site (though you can choose all three) and research how to game their algorithm, because there's certain times, and types of posts, and even behaviours of the account, that will boost you - for example, it seems replying to everyone who comments under your work on twitter will give you a pretty big boost, but who knows if it's the same on instagram or facebook.

Personally, I say just make a new blogspot account and upload your work there, just like our forefather, because fuck these modern social sites... more like unsocial sites, am I right guys?

Not OP, I've wanted to try this but were does one find decent free sites with something like a gallery? Or is the only option to buy a domain?

It depends on the size of all the files you'll be uploading, but there is neocities, nekoweb, github pages, if we're talking about making your own site but without having to pay for a domain/hosting, but like I said, there'll be differing size restrictions on each, but so long as you aren't a moron and making your images full lossless quality png images, the restrictions will probably be more than enough, plus for neocities and nekoweb there is a paid option (I think a small one time payment?) that should increase the file size limit.

If making your own full site does nothing for you, but you still want a smaller customisable experience, there is blogspot (as suggested before) and Spacehey.
Blogspot is an older blogging platform, it's no thrills really, but it's not really going to have a gallery, and just a feed of your art as you posted it, and there's basically no community for it outside of what you draw in to you blog specifically - but that may be what you want.
Spacehey I have little experience with, but it's essentially a recreation of myspace, so it'll allow for a fair deal of customisation of your page, and I believe should have gallery options too, but because it's mostly poised as a social site (and a family friendly one), they'll be more strict on the maturity of your work.
Actually, for all the other options, besides github pages, you can go full pornographic if you wish, and even github pages will allow it for artistic reason (not for explicit eroticism).

Anyway, these are all the ones I've sort of idly come across as I've thought about the so-called indie web, and making my own site as well, but I'm sure there are other good options.

Id love to make my own site but the problem is I don't think many people would go out of their way to view it, at least not until I built a big following on a different website
