Beyond feeling too sleepy from drinking to draw, nah, I just become awful at drawing.
Being able to draw while drunk is a skill in of itself - though those drink and draw events that used to be popular were probably still fun, you'd probably find humour in being unable to draw well.

I haven't heard about them (the drink 'n' draws) in yonks, are they still a thing?

I only draw while drunk if I'm trying to have fun. I've done it enough times to where I realize that I wasn't nearly as clever or executed nearly as good as I thought I did when I see the shit I drew the next day, but I have a great time doing it. Really fun when you're doing gartic lobbies or something.

imo if you hit the point where you're motor skills are impacted you've gone too far.
a shot to take the edge off and get some confidence in putting lines down should be the most you need
