any resource on the psychology behind composition/poses?
maybe on why is something more effective than something else...
i remember reading something in photography about how the position of a light source affects the emotion of the image, so something like that
deepseek say this:
Books:
The Art of Composition: A Simple Application of Dynamic Symmetry by Michel Jacobs
(Explores how geometric structures in composition guide the viewer’s eye.)
Picture This: How Pictures Work by Molly Bang
(A brilliant, visual breakdown of how shapes, colors, and composition affect emotions.)
The Photographer's Eye by Michael Freeman
(Discusses compositional psychology in photography, applicable to art as well.)

This is a too nuanced topic for /ic/, everyone here a terrible autist who only think of art in terms of accurately depicting an object rather building moods through consideration of the human subconscious. The best they can do is parroting style or creating endless pastiches. No one on /ic/ has a purpose or philosophy behind their art exceeding "this looks cool/sexo, I also wanna draw something cool/sexo like this".
