Marc's cool. I don't know why, but I can't bring myself to hate him.
He has this huge issue where he's repeating the same 5 videos over and over each month until infinity, but other than that, he's alright at what he does.
His ArtSchool course is an absolute /permabeg/ trap, though. I think it's been the same outdated course over the past 6 years, which I don't think it's that bad, but the guy is clearly a much better artist and teacher than he was when he created it, and he should absolutely update that course and not make people waste money.

My thoughts exactly. He shows much better methods in his YT videos but his course is the same shit that's been up on trackers for years. Yet he promotes it as if it's constantly being updated (it isn't) by just changing the year.

Marc is not the best artist in the world but he has one thing lots of better artists lack.
He knows how to explain and interest you in the process. You can be a fantastic artist but if you fail to explain what you do and your explanation is boring you are a bad teacher.

I finally started drawing cubes and cylinders and shit and following the art tutorials in january and I actually got better at drawing everything else after a few months of grinding. The hand-eye coordination exercises probably helped with that as well.

Marc's a funny guy, back in late 2000s and early 2010s he made several posts on DeviantArt talking shit about art schools, he's a school dropout because he hated his 3D college, he shilled his pro friends online CG school that went bankrupt, created videos on youtube shitting on art schools, then unlisted them all, changed his nickname to his real name AND created his own art school...
Here's a few fun facts: When he used to have hair, he went to islands with his friends and banged a lot of his female friends there, he posted the photos with on his DA account hugging them and he used to talk about parties, booze and sex all the fucking time.
