3 hours a day is easy, the problem is finishing things. A finished piece can take as long as it needs to, but when you finish it, your brain releases dopamine which kills drive. You can work on one piece for 6 hours if you have to. If this is you, then draw multiple things together without finishing them and you will get more actual work done in 3 hours than usual.

I don't understand how people color shit like this. I can only color things solid colors and then do basic shading from one light source. Where did all these random colors come from? If you go outside, you'll see that trees are not this color, so he couldn't have used a reference. And the texture on the bokoblin's skin looks totally random, like a puddle of oil on the road. The grass is crazy too, that alone is like a whole illustration that would take me hours and its just background. THere has to be a way to do it in seconds

Not seconds, but if you got experience you make palettes and then plop them on your workspace right over the part you are coloring. this way you don't need to waste time on choosing colors with a picker or wheel.

Basically same shit you do in trad by mixing colors on a physical palette.
