The picreal is the best model study I’ve done (according to me).
I’ll post what my current goal regarding drawing people, in response.

I felt stuck at my model like I couldn’t draw him correctly.

My gesture look bad although I studied from all YouTube and books sources + I used a lot of lined (my biggest flaw I tried to used a pen but same thing I used too much lines) + don’t look like the models

I didn’t study anatomy bc Proko, other YouTubers and books are telling me that it’s a bad idea to start anatomy without mastering gesture.

Honestly I feel drown out all the things I have to learn and what to learn = I’m lost.

This is just one step beyond what you're doing now. Start making decisions about what shapes are the most important and become refining them. Choose where to emphasize action, stability, or weight with thicker lines. You might fuck up your sketch but that's part of learning, just play around and start seeing what you like and what you don't, what works and what doesn't

Didn't read your blogpost because the drawing you posted is /beg/ level so it's not worth my time to read anything you wrote. (No offence!)

Anon, slow down and draw more carefully. Look at the contour lines on your model's right forearm — they're way off! Also, don't put in so many lines. You're hiding behind ambiguity, which suggests indecision on your part. At this point, you should indicate the parts as simply as possible. Decide that the upper arm is a cylinder, the lower arm is a truncated cone or tapered cylinder, etc. This enables you to focus on getting the overall proportional relationships and positioning correct before you even begin to worry about subtleties. Also, a tip about cylinders which will help you with these mannikins: the ellipse at the end of a cylinder will always have its long axis at a right angle to the axis of the length of the cylinder. If you don't want your mannikin figures to look askew, adhere to this rule and draw those ellipses/contour lines carefully.
