I've been drawing for 4 years about once a week on average. I am still pre-/beg/. I notice mistakes in my drawings all the time but am too lazy to fix them and I don't use the undo button more than 3 times per line. I bought multiple artbooks but only read 10 pages, that was 1 year ago and I still haven't read more. If I'm drawing a human, I lose interest after drawing the head, torso, and a limb before abandoning the drawing. Most of my drawings are unfinshed sketches. The only practice I do anymore is copying art because it's the easiest and I don't have to think. Maybe I'll notice a proportion is off but I won't fix it. I avoid drawing outside of my comfort zone. I daydream and fantasize about drawing all the time though. Oh yeah and whenever I tell people this they assume I'm a troll baiting them. Guess it's a reality too hard for some to understand.

What's your point? Put more effort into studying and making drawings that aren't direct copies or learn to be happy staying at your current level. What do you want from us?

Post your work, /ic/ isn't the best place to gauge your actual appeal. I posted art that got tons of attention on other sites but got told I was /beg/ here simply because it was cartoony. (This place doesn't seem to like simple toony things even if they're objectively good)

oh hey that sounds like an issue i had before, but i am an experienced artist. whenever I would try to color i would lose interest, like something about the drawing just I didn't want to color it. but then I fixed my pen pressure, and I naturally felt like coloring again.

could it be there is something wrong about the way you're doing things that makes you not have the natural interest you're supposed to have?
