The story doesnt make sense if it did because Pantsu_ripper had a massive degrade in quality as the years go on after he got popular.
Also not sure why OP decided to study old art that sucked instead of the good art right way? Unless it was too hard, but its like copying someone who got a 65/100 on a test vs copying someone who got a 95/100.

This is a very real thing by the way. Basically your gut is like a second brain and getting a transplant can have a large positive influence on your brain and mood.

Probably a couple things.
They figured out how to work their tools, they asked a better artist for help (quickest jump in skill desu), there's a gap in time not included (the dates aren't ordered by creation date but upload), they activated their right brain hemisphere and it finally clicked on permanently, and all that. You never know, honestly.
