Grindcore/Goregrind/Extreme Metal cover artwork thread.

I don't mean to shit up the thread, and I think this sort of thread is perfectly legitimate for such a board, but if I could ask those who like this sort of art: what do you find appealing about it? I like certain art (visual or otherwise) that plays with certain taboos, to an extent, but I've never really been a fan of gore. I think some art - music most obviously - works on a subconscious level, but there are conceptual, rational aspects which affect our taste as well. so to that extent (and perhaps in its subconscious capacity as well), why do you think it appeals to you specifically?

This kind of art gives me a sort of debased, animalistic inspiration, and its extremity helps one to vent their intense emotions/frustrations through an explicit visual medium that is unapologetic in its offensiveness. Pic related is something I drew.

I find nothing appealing about this art,it's just the shock value to trigger christcucks which some edgelord genxers did in 80s and 90s.Oh yeah don't forget the cringy lyrics kek.
