I hate AI """ART""" so much it is unreal.
Prompters are literally human garbage.

Do these no skill retards not understand that their prompting is on the same level as using google to find pictures?

It is literally all stolen pictures who depend on art styles already developed by humans. No new art styles to steal = no new art styles for AI.

I hate AI but i'm not horribly sad about it since its already been given the label of being low quality and scammy as fuck, it sucks that it exists but it'll always be inferior to actual art in the eyes of everyone that isn't an indian or a withered old boomer that's already on their way out

AI art is for stupid stuff.

You have a whim to see something, so a few dozen prompts later you can get it satisfied. Imagine how many real hours of work would go into making something like this that is better spent on things more original?

Trvke

Looking at it from a "which hurts corporations more" position is retarded, corporations always play every side of everything. It's some of the most stupid consequentialist reasoning in general, the same kind of rickety-foundation that leads people to go
>uh uhhhh making lewd fanart of Jaiden is heckin bad because shes a small creator but I'm going to draw Mercy as a healslut gooner because uh blizzard is a corporation?
as well as
>NOOO DONT USE KEMONO NOOOO I CANT BELIEVE YOU RUINED MY DAY NOW I HAVE TO STOP DRAWING ON MY COPY OF PIRATED PHOTOSHOP AND LOAD UP MY PIRATED COPY OF BALDURS GATE 3 TO RELAX

The hands part is backwards lol. Also nobody actually really cares about the muh morality part. It's just it's so easy to posture and pretend you're a good person with those moral background. Artists don't care about copyright, otherwise there won't be Samus pinups no. 443821.

The only true reason to dislike AIslop is the spammy garbage and majority of prooompters just prooompt 10 pictures of slightly different variation pf the same prompt, and instead of picking the best one, posted all of them on online galleries. El sloppa mc sloppa.

Trust me, once AI-assisted is no longer frowned upon, artists will be the first to use them so they could get the edge over their competitors.

Are you retarded? How can an artist compete with free? That's the core issue here, that they've been completely undercut in the market.
They were stolen from, and then the stolen material was used to replace them in the market, it's just unbelievably immoral - Artists wouldn't care if AI was made with their work, but not competing against them. Midjourney and Suno are immoral blights of the AI industry, and a pure example of corporate greed.

>Also nobody actually really cares about the muh morality part.
Speak for yourself, sinner, it's one of the biggest thing for me personally.
>Artists don't care about copyright, otherwise there won't be Samus pinups no.
It's up to the copyright holder to dictate how the use of their character - obviously nintendo doesn't mind fan art, while they DO care about fan games.
Do you see many artists having their body of work destroyed by copyright claims? No? Because your argument is stupid, and frankly bad faith, because you knew it was stupid too.

>Trust me, once AI-assisted is no longer frowned upon, artists will be the first to use them so they could get the edge over their competitors.
Probably true for professional setting, but any idiot who depends on it for the private work is going to quickly find their skills atrophying.

If you're in the market for producing slop then you get what you deserve. Eventually there will be a faster slop producer in the race to the bottom.
>Artists wouldn't care if AI was made with their work, but not competing against them
Artists aren't a monolith. I gladly would share my shit into AI models, and I know someone who made his own LoRA based on his own art and released it publicly.
Plenty of people would hate AI art even if it DIDN'T involve analyzing tons of other art, if it still "competed" with their slop. And plenty of people would still hate AI art if it used tons of art to build datasets but didn't compete with them.

Sorry buddy, your stance is not anywhere close to a consensus.

>Do you see many artists having their body of work destroyed by copyright claims?
ahahahahah some have tried to do so (Games Workshop comes to mind, as well as Blizzard) but every time some dumbfuck tries they quickly realize it's useless, and in fact counterproductive.

>it's one of the biggest thing for me personally
Explain your moral system then. Because you already either contradicted yourself or don't actually have a moral code that goes beyond tribal identity-based consequentialism.

>How can an artist compete with free?

I know right! I'm for hire as an aerospace engineer, I'll even do it for free. I'm not very good at it, I have zero experience or training, but I'm free.

I'm going to get so many job offers! NASA here we come!

Let's be honest, anti-AI at this point is just fat acceptance for bad artists. No one actually worth anything is the least bit threatened. It's a nothing cause to virtue for so you can pretend like you're making a difference.
