Pretty sure they would like it. Realistic enough to not be seen as crude. While the ancient romans and greeks were pretty big on realism I dont think a bit of stylization would be a huge problem. Amphorae paintings are also stylized. And despite shitting on barbarians romans were fascinated with anything foreign in general even if just as a passing trend.
