Just draw. Most of this board is anons trying to come to terms with that. I'm speaking to myself as well, it's like sometimes we need permission from someone else. Embrace it, believe in the you that believes in you. You can draw. This board should even exist. This post shouldn't even exist. We should just all be drawing. Pray, draw, eat, sleep and repeat. It's not as easy as it sounds but yet it is. You want to draw, anon. So, just draw. Forget about /beg/s and /int/s, crabs, howies, books and teachers. I read in a book once that the best book is the one that gets you to draw. The best course or resources are the ones that get you to draw. Do you feel motivated and the end result is you drawing? No? Then forget it. Do you end up drawing after you read that book or watch that video or even during it? Yes? Then it's worth it. Draw a circle, draw a line, draw a bird, draw your s/o or your crush or your hand, heck, draw your own genitals. Draw a mountain, draw your phone, draw the sun, draw somebody, draw nobody, just draw.
All in all, pick up the pencil, pen, chalk, crayon, dip your finger in paint, hell, dip it in dung for all I care. But mostly importantly, JUST FREAKING DRAW, ANON!

>>7652582>What do I draw>How do I drawThe idea is you should get to the point where you’re beyond those questions. Ironically you can’t do that by actively striving, but only in the (non)act of letting go. The next hurdle that you will need to address is the Why. But you’ll find that your whys are all shallow. Drawing to express yourself, or to impress others, etc, are all vain pursuits. Does that mean art is meaningless? No! But it’s only when all your whys fall, one by one, that the true nature of art will reveal itself.
>>7653042"Just draw" encapsulates everything. You draw to express yourself. You draw to impress others. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. You become a person who just draws. It becomes a part of you. You draw to get better or maybe to represent an object or scene, like a picture, maybe to make a statement, maybe because you just want something to do to pass some time. It doesn't matter, you just draw.
>pre/begs/ will argue against this instead of drawing
