Has anyone ever done one of those parody draw-over anime openings? What was your process for it, and how long did it take you?

I guess I'm asking how people self-manage big-ass self-produced animation projects. 1000-2000+ frames is daunting (and yet I'd be done if I'd done a frame a day...).

Some seem like full-on frame-for-frame redraws, some cut the frame-rate down and even convert some to stills.

Also, is there a good place to request ripped game assets? I need a 3D model of the China Broom from Bioshock Infinite.
