>game studio
You are getting paid a fair amount for the work they're having you do, right?
And they're letting you use the work you do in your portfolio, right?
>small startup
Ask the big boss what his "exit strategy" is and if who the other owners are. That will tell you how long you can expect to work there at absolute max, unless it goes under. Ideally you have them as a reference for snagging other work while they still exist though.
Startups fucking suck.

Don't let the crabs sour your success. If it's a genuine role at a place, it's a huge boost for your resume and now makes you an official pro, also a huge milestone for artistic journeys. It'll be easier to land indie gigs going forward and you get enough of those you'll form a solid enough portfolio/resume to be able to apply with the big boys

Even if he is he could put that work in his portfolio saying he did it. Starting out take what you can get and then build upon that.

Another one here.
>PARABENS MEU PARÇA
I'm working on my own indie game, I'm both the dev and artist and I make far more than 3k reais from patreon so give that a try later on.

You still need to check the time scales out. Startups are not "small businesses", they're a particular business model that is designed to get a quick cash injection and then hand it off to someone else. Maybe it's different in hueland but if you're being hired by americans just make sure you continue to get more jobs lined up. Freelance art for games and shit is very "feast and famine" as well so make sure you save and/or invest your money instead of blowing it rapidly. That 3k might need to last you half a year or more. Also account for how much you'd pay in tax and set it aside so you don't touch it.

I am not dooming you, I am giving you advice so you can snowball this into bigger wins and avoid pitfalls.
