Make it for your own satisfaction and enjoyment, you're relevant to yourself. There's an artist that was very prolific and popular and successful when I was young that had an illness and more or less retired. He said he retreated into his own made up world of art which might be bliss if you think about it.

Well I constantly like to present the idea that NSFW is just like the eternal modifier. Human beings are kinda geared to procreate so if you present porn to the masses on average they're going to be hooked in by it. By that extension, most form of eroticism is going to get people surrounding you as long as you know how to work the more evergreen characters and concepts. In reality all you really need is some 50l-100k andy to follow you and continuously retweet your shit so you'd have to be specifically tactical with that individual. But that's all within the realm of cheesecake and NSFW

SFW is ass and doesn't just require a good hook, it either requires a great hook or extreme luck. Now you suddenly gotta make the one thing everybody doesn't know that they need. The sleep genre/topic/oc that was lying in wait. All things considered, it's a crapshoot. I don't think you, or me or a lot of people in here are actually going to get that breakout moment enough to be perpetual in the SFW space. The most you can do is just try to build a following and then force your passion project onto them, but a follow already adjacent to the themes of your passion project. (And don't try to do it with NSFW people if it's a SFW product they will most likely not give a fuck.)
