Instead of worrying about that, try learning first principles via eliminating contradictions in your thinking (resetting to try a different path if you hit a dead-end where it loops into a contradictory mess), and then filtering out people who fail some basic tests regarding their willingness to follow or at least not cut ties when a well-reasoned argument contrasts what they think will give them more social validation.

Morality is a layer above the foundation of ethics. You can believe someone is a sinner for something that isn't unethical, like day drinking, but it's unethical to stone them to death for it. So if your moral code decrees that day drinking deserves stoning to death, then you have an unethical moral code.
