NEW EXECUTIVE ORDER
>The executive order seeks to eliminate "reputational risk" as a factor for denying banking services, with potential fines for banks found in violation. There's also a possibility that banks found to have already engaged in debanking could be punished retroactively.

We are so back!

Oh they absolutely should. I don't think there's anyone who would defend this behaviour, and it'd be an easy win for the politicians, ON TOP of drumming up some easy tax revenue from fining the fuck out of those banker cunts.
DO IT!

Loli rape porn isn't protected by freedom of speech. This order is to protect people who are debanked due to political bias, which doesn't include companies refusing to sell jerk-off material, btw. Go look up the legal definition of obscenity lololol

why do you short-circuit over loli rape?
Do you live under a rock? People were debanked over loli 10 years ago, they creeped now towards all lewd material, political content and so on.

Now, personally I think loli rape art should be legal (and in my country it is), since drawings aren't people and paper doesn't need to consent to be drawn on. It would not even need to be covered by free speech, it should be okay to draw whatever.

That said this isn't about loli-rape, it's about payment processors power tripping and their arbitrary rulings.

WRONG
>Sec. 3. Definitions. (a) The term “politicized or unlawful debanking” refers to an act by a bank, savings association, credit union, or other financial services provider to directly or indirectly adversely restrict access to, or adversely modify the conditions of, accounts, loans, or other banking products or financial services of any customer or potential customer on the basis of the customer’s or potential customer’s political or religious beliefs, or on the basis of the customer’s or potential customer’s lawful business activities that the financial service provider disagrees with or disfavors for political reasons.

>Executive Order 14157, titled "Guaranteeing Fair Banking for All Americans", was signed by President Trump to prevent "debanking" practices, ensuring equal access to financial services regardless of political or religious beliefs or lawful business activities. The order directs federal regulators to investigate and address politically motivated or unlawful debanking.
It explicitly states any lawful activities cannot be debanked. It's over, you lost, moshe

>The digital assets industry has also been the target of unfair debanking initiatives.
>These practices erode public trust in banking institutions and regulators, harm livelihoods, freeze payrolls, and impose significant financial burdens on law-abiding Americans.

the cited article is not the executive order itself. If you look at the content it is very much about art:

>Sec. 4. Removing Reputation Risk and Politicized or Unlawful Debanking. (a) Within 180 days of the date of this order, each appropriate Federal banking regulator shall, to the greatest extent permitted by law, remove the use of reputation risk or equivalent concepts that could result in politicized or unlawful debanking, as well as any other considerations that could be used to engage in such debanking, from their guidance documents, manuals, and other materials (other than existing regulations or other materials requiring notice-and-comment rulemaking) used to regulate or examine financial institutions over which they have jurisdiction.

I think that retard is probably abused as a child and is on some kind of crusade against art, instead of having the courage to fight the actual child sex trafficking or child abuse, that retard decided that those who draw loli are the problem, or those who consume the content are the problem, and blindly support censorship that is quasi related, despite when told NSFW is not all loli, victory at all cost, even if it means to hurt innocent people along the way.

yep. the whole ordeal is specifically targeting cases where payment processors overruled actual law for moral or "brand-risk" reasons.

It's a really good change if it stops them from doing economic terrorism and nuking entire sectors of commerce they don't agree with.
Very big win for small companies and independent creators.

That's the key, they're going after sectors that make a fuckton of money and said money is used to pay taxes so they're taking money from OrangeGod which is why this law passed.
