comments:

People who pirate are not customers.

I am appalled at the low ethical standards of foreign countries that still insinuate piracy at this stage of the game.
Don't justify your lack of compliance and decency.

Resellers are pissed off both domestically and internationally.
It's working great!

It's funny because after all those anti switch boycott, it's selling great.

I know it's been common knowledge for a long time that pirates are hanged.

What is it really about foreign cultures that endorse piracy? I mean, they just criticize and play with pirated copies, it's just too much.

All in all, what a peace and what can we consider a virtual great defeat for the resellers and the Nintendo antis...?

I'd like to say to those who defend piracy:
“Do you know the words and meaning of respect and ethics?”

I don't want you to play by posting "I'm playing pirated copies, how do you feel now Nintendo?" You could have bought it if you worked that time. Shame on them.

I realize that Nintendo's bottom line and popularity is real.
It's also something that also sears the low level of the people.

I guess it's the difference between
“Omotenashi”
to make customers happy or not.

That's exactly what you'd expect from people who think it's okay to loot things when there's a riot

Is Nintendo's legal department in the US strong?
I hope they beat up pirate users

I've never seen Japanese fighting over items for sale at a store in Japan.
Overseas, it's a national trait to be the first to go and not think of others.

You want to say, “Who was boycotting?”
If you don't like it, why are you playing pirated Nintendo games?

What? Nintendo is DEI? Piracy is DEI, I think DEI means people who don't spend money and only criticize.

Piracy is moral? Japanese content is 100 years too early for idiots.
If you approve of piracy, you are a criminal. If it's an old game that is no longer in production I can understand emulating it, but this is the latest model

If I wouldn't buy it to begin with, but am willing to pirate it then how is it stealing money from them? It's a binary option. Either I pirate it and play it, or I don't pirate it and don't buy it. Either way they don't get money.
And companies should work towards making products that are good for consumers, not just jewing people.

I've had online conversations about this issue with overseas fans who justify piracy, and they are really too much!
They don't care about the authors or Japan, but rather blame the Japanese publishers.
I don't think it's necessary for manga to spread around the world if it's just going to be exploited. I go to foreign review sites,
I get sick and tired of foreign fans insulting rivals of their favorite works.

If the producers don't get their money's worth, anime itself will disappear.

There are plenty of subscription platform now, so pay up!

They say that the animators don't get paid even if they pay, but if you watch the show illegally, you don't get 100% of the money.
I'd like to say that you are part of the cause.

In Japan, there is a saying, "Thieves are fierce.

If you paid them well, officially, the quality of your work would go up.

Illegal viewers have no morals, and it bothers me when they act like fans.
Let's increase the number of fans who spend money to watch legally!

It's been said since the 00's (overseas) that "illegal viewing is spreading the popularity of anime around the world."
But in the end, it is only in the last 3-4 years that anime popularity has exploded overseas.
This is due in part to the influence of Corona, but also to the fact that overseas viewers can now easily access anime through subscriptions.
That kind of analysis has been said in many places, and yet they still advocate illegal viewing.

Recently, people not only illegally watch anime, but also illegally watch manga and talk about their impressions of the contents as if it were a matter of course.
Seriously, there is too much difference in morals between Japan and other countries.

Most of these sites is from Korea
It needs to be shut down

continued:

Thieves don't justify their theft, but rather say that it's because they're stealing it that it's popular, right? And they are patronizing.

It's repulsive to think that these people are complaining about MAPPA's working environment.

The people who feel the worst when illegal viewers are in charge are the good viewers who pay to watch.
In that sense, pirate sites must be shut down.

If you don't pay, you won't be able to watch new anime in the future.

Illegal is illegal

The producers don't get a penny for illegal viewing, and all they get is a little bit of publicity from negativity

If you can't respect the creators, don't watch anime.
I don't like that kind of thing from overseas because it's dirty.
Even though we are having fun while we are struggling to make a living.

I don't care about your reasons, and the popularity of anime is not as weak as you think it is.

Anime is not worth watching if you don't watch it correctly. I don't want you pirates to have a place to watch it.

After all, those who complain are just trying to justify piracy in order to watch pirated copies, right? Hilarious.

All those fan-faced gaijin spouting Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God, oh my God, oh my God, they're all criminals too, aren't they? I'll stop watching, give it a low rating and turn anti...

All those complaining are criminals.

It is faster, more efficient, bigger and better display, and on the dock goes up to 4k 120fps to a TV/monitor. The doc has a built in fan now too for cooling. The joycons are bigger and magnetic instead of sliding in like before. The stand on the back is better and the device a usb port on top and bottom so you can charge either way. Also has sd express card support which is much faster than normal sd for booting games. With all the tariffs and I thought it would be $700 for the device so the $450 price tag is a steal! It is an excellent value and fun for the whole family!

I know this thread is bait but I'll say my honest opinion anyway: you're not supposed to pirate the games of the models that are still in production, i.e. Switch 1 and Switch 2 because that's a direct damage to the company.

I wouldn't mind pirating 3DS or Wii U games as this wouldn't damage Nintendo (and it can also be useful to save the old media from disappearing).

So yes, even if OP is a troll, he's right.

There's a contradiction in your stance: if you're willing to play Nintendo games you're implicitly prasing their work, and damaging the company would disrupt the creative process that makes you so willing to play their games.

Ironically I believe that Nintendo is going in the wrong direction with Switch 2, and I've lost most of my interest so I'm not going to buy it because I'm not willing to play their games.
But if you like so much contemporary Nintendo games you should definitely pay in order to play them.

Old games are barely profitable with a few exceptions.
Even if Nintendo tried hard to extract value from their older games they'd only get at tiny revenue from them.

Maybe if they created a serious retro gaming ecosystem with e.g. all the Pokémon generations integrated that could turn out ot be more profitable but there's no such project for now.
