Not necessarily.
It's possible that intelligent life is incredibly rare and we are the only civilization in the universe, in the galaxy, or in this part of the universe.
It's hard to tell, since we only have a sample size of one, and so many miracles had to happen for us to evolve and make it this far.

I'm not as pessimistic as you, though imo intelligent life is either pretty rare or it tends to destroy itself due to greed and/or politics and thus is a mayfly on geological time scales. Microbial life is probably fairly common though.

I tried to see this thing with my naked eyes in the desert, and it was hard as fuck
I THINK I saw it but I'm not even that sure. It's harder to spot than a star or a planet

We exist because universe/consciousness wanted to create us. If it wanted to create more life on other planets it would do it. Consciousness is at the core of everything. The belief that this world is mechanical is incredibly ignorant lol.
It is ridiculous to think that there are other primates in other planets.....
It is also ridiculous to believe that there are intelligent animals in other planets....when on Earth there are billions of species and just 1 (us) are the only ones trully intelligent to trascend.

there were multiple intelligent hominids on Earth. Our ancestors just killed them or breed them out of existence in the case of Neanderthals.

It is possible but as I said....out of billions of species on Earth...just 1 is intelligent and after hundreds of thousands of years we could only reach the Moon.

But there are no primates in other planets. It is like those that believe in God... Why the hell God would have chosen to create us out of the hundreds billions galaxies that exist out there??
>>211757572 >after hundreds of thousands of years we could only reach the Moon.
That's like 10 microseconds on the scale of the universe. Imagine if life on a different planet began 1 million years earlier than ours and advanced on the same pace. They'd be so much more advanced we might as well consider them gods
