I walk slow, I drive slowly and when I ride my bicycle I do it at a leasurely pace.

I find being in a hurry degrading but I'm not trying to actively impede anyone.

people walk extremely slow and obnoxiously in every country. I blaze past them. occasionally some of them pick extremely unpredictable paths in which case I just shove them out of the fucking way. I fucking hate proles and their glacial walking speed (in my country but also your country)

response I need to qualify: by maximum speed I mean maximum safe speed. the speed at which you still have enough time to react to any probable threat - be it a lane change, someone merging from a side road, someone running out on the street

I always go at the maximum sustainable safe speed in any vehicle. Which means I speed a lot, because a 4 lane highway with a split down the middle is generally safe up to well above 200km/h, depending on sight lines, the curvature of the road and traffic conditions.

I walk at the maximum speed I can sustain. I don't run because running is a different, much more energy-intensive mode of locomotion and fucks with my knees. On the bicycle I always ride at the maximum speed I can sustain also.

Driving a car at 160 is the same mode of locomotion as driving at 100, it takes no additional effort beyond paying more attention to your surrondings.
