I got a haircut in Japan. Asked for short back and sides as best I could, he gave me a generic salaryman cut. Old guy in the chair next to me literally fell asleep and was snoring.

I regularly get a haircut from a Japanese barber. He's very good actually.
Sometimes I ask why people like him come all the way here, it's not like this shithole is America or Europe. Apparently there's a sizable Japanese community here. It started with embassy employees, then businessmen and their families, then diner chefs and barbers/salon beauticians soon followed. Shows how much they care about their food and hair.
