Why does everyone in Japanese media get a redemption arc, even the biggest assholes in the series.
Was reading a manga and a serial rapist is just being treated like a regular guy now. He didn't even repent for anything they're just making him empathetic.
I've seen this on so much anime, movies, manga, visual novels, videogames, etc. Is this to do with Japanese culture?
