Apparently nothing. The Eastern Half of Orgeon is extremely underpopulated. The largest town there has about 8,000 people

There are tons of 4chan anons from portland, no matter the board I'm on it seems like someone mentions that city.

There isn't any other relevant city in Oregon besides portland. So if you're looking for another urban center to explore there really isn't one. Bend, Salem, and Corvallis all have some aspects that they market as "claims to fame" but they're just copies of concepts that portland has a better version of. That said the nature of the western half of oregon is perfect. It's just fucking amazing everywhere you go and the small little towns that dot your route are all very fun to spend an afternoon in having a beer as you move to the next one. So if you're visiting oregon I'd do some kind of roadtrip all over the western half then end in portland to eat a ton of food for a few days before flying out.
