I guess I can only speak for myself here, since I am unaware of how it is in other provinces, but people in the nicer parts of Tehran are seen as snooty sometimes. The part of Isfahan my dad is from would be seen as kind of backwards, they are what would be called "dahati" or more village/rural type of people.

Yes, there is a lot of negative sentiment toward Afghan people in Iran. To be fair, a lot of them also behave similarly in Europe and other countries as they do in Iran (which I’m sure you’re aware is not good behavior).

Me personally, I have nothing against them and I do not condone that.
