And worst of all, they smell like shit. When I did swimming back in the day and old people entered the swimming tracks next to me the entire water had the taste of old people, it was crazy. Bad "old people" smell and terrible old people breath, which btw, when an old person talks to you they have to tendency to get very close and talk straight into your face and not to a side.

Every time I'm force to take a bus ride, boomers refuse to stand in line before boarding and just shove everyone aside, trying to get in first and when you tell them where the end of the queue is they'll instantly get offended and start ranting about young people having no respect for their elders. Btw boomers in my country can use public transport for completely free, while I have to pay for every ride I take and they still insist to board first before paying customers.
They hate standing in lines for some reason, they have no families to take care of, they don't have to go to work and they're certainly don't have to arrive to school on time, yet they always pretend they're in a big hurry and make up all sorts of retarded excuses to get in front off people and have you take care of their needs first. The worst example of this behavior is when there are self checkouts at the store that are completely unused, yet they keep cutting the line at the regular checkout to get their shit scanned first. A cashier at a local Lidl told one such inpatient boomer that she's free to use the self checkout if she's indeed in such a hurry, then she literally started crying because MUH TECHNOLOGY LE HARD and went on a rant about how no one cares for elderly people's needs. Of course they never have exact change and never use credit cards and always pay with the biggest banknote they can find for the 2 buns and 3 apples they've bought and because they're too lazy to carry these items they always use the biggest shopping carts they can find and make sure to ram into everyone.

I don’t feel the same about most old people but I do think if you have dementia you should be put out to pasture. My grandma has dementia and has become a massive burden for my family. She still lives in her own house doing whatever she wants and has informal caretakers we send everyday to babysit her. My feckless mom and uncle don’t just force her into a home because they think it will kill her. She will eventually run out of money to support her lifestyle and they will have to sell her house then find some way to take care of her. She was never even some great person either, she was an abusive alcoholic mid trophy wife serial divorcer. I have to visit her every week and it used to be they wanted me to stay over but I only stay until she goes to bed. I won’t be around to do it by the fall and hope my family stops kicking this can down the road. It’s a shame my grandfathers who were intelligent and noble had to die of illnesses in their 60s and 70s while my bumpkin grandma who never talks about the anything interesting will probably live another ten years at least up into her 90s.

I think people begin periodically losing their sentience once they reach 30 and it rapidly after 45. Each year they have less original thoughts because their brain stops making new pathways and they basically just wait until they hear a key word and then run the script of what they say to that key word
If you see two old people interact it's like 2 robots bumping into each other where they are both saying their lines at each other with basically no correlation between what each one is saying
