most of eastern europe is, if you're white and don't dress like a tourist you'll blend in basically anywhere. same in western europe, unless you're in the rare mohammadstan ghetto in a major city.

I was following a Polish (Romanian?) female solo traveller on Youtube that had been like all over the world except for somewhere cold.

She uploaded a video saying that she was going to drive to the arctic circle through Sweden and Norway in the winter.
Hundreds of Nordicks left comments giving her tips and advice and warnings.

She proceeded to ignore a lot of them and on like the second day she crashed her car because one of the advices she ignored was to put proper fucking winter tyres on her car.

This and people going hiking without proper shoes and falling off mountains are basically the two most dangerous things for solo travelers here.

I have no idea why inexperienced hikers don't just stick to trails and invest some money in some proper boots, it isn't too hard

many tourists get supprised when they come to norway and realize we dont really have hiking trails, nothing is prepared or laid out, if you want to go hiking you do so at your own risk while making your own path.
