Does more hispanic influence seep into brazil or does more brazilian influence seep into the hispanic countries?
We only get influence from Mexico, stuff like Chavo or churros, which is weird because they are geographically far from us
>>211830739 (OP)there's a lot of words and stuff I didn't even know originated in Brazil so I guess Brazilification is real
>>211830739 (OP)Borges is more influential in Brazil than our own short story writers.
>>211830739 (OP)Brazil, in music and afro religions like umbanda
>>211830739 (OP)It's not uncommon to see tiktok videos of hispanic girl dancing to brazilian music
>>211830739 (OP)brazilian music and architecture are influential, but specifically here the kids at the frontier identify more with brazil because the country is in bad situation and theres not a lot of presence in the amazon
there's some interchange, but it's less than expected from such a close language sharing the same part of the world
i dont think one have more influence over the other
>>211830912roberto carlos and lambada are popular out of brazil
>>211830739 (OP)Brazil is isolated from the Hispanic world. I cannot say any hispanic influence in Brazil, the average brazilian dont know nothing about south america, we only know argentinians bc they're good at futebol and thats it, we are so isolated that I could say that the Arab immigrants from 1900s were more influential than the hispanics in centuries being our neigbours.
>>211830739 (OP)I say brazilian influence seeps into us. In both Bolivar and Amazonas state, near the brazilian border portuñol is spoken.
Is there big differences between Spain and Portugal? I always thought they had a Canadian/American thing going on
>>211830901we get a lot of Chilean words in my region, we're all just friends.
>>211832060Iberians dont want you to know this is true
>argentina
Alfajor is a pretty popular sweet, some slangs from footbal like "pelota"
>Mexico
RBD, Chespirito, some soap operas like Maria del Bairro, La usurpadora, Chiquititas etc.
>Peru
Ceviche
>>211832060It depends but yes. Even within both countries there can be big differences. You cannot compare with the US/Canada two countries who, despite following a similar path in history, have had nearly 1000 years of different existance.
>>211830739 (OP)90% of the country lives near the sea, so there is cultural exchange but those happen in the borders which only a fraction of the population lives at.
Are Tupí girls in Brasil like super slutty?, or you can barley find one?
>>211831516>>211831636>brazilian musicmaybe among Caribbeans and or Argentina
