I don't like it, it doesn't communicate anything. Just some dude in a boat and a woman about to board it, unless there's some deeper meaning I'm not getting.
The woman seems to have fancier clothes than the guy, so that might signal a higher social status, so I guess the dude might be of proletarian extraction having an affair with the wife of some wealthy upper class dude, that's all I can infer from it
