Can't say I'm a fan of Israel but the Ayatollahs are just give the fucking ick. Religious fanatics who have turned a great nation into a shade of itself. A secular and democratic Iran would be absolutely kino, with unlimited economic and cultural potential. Iranians have been dreaming of this for decades, the whole world has. Unfortunately, something tells me Israel would actually prefer a crippled and closed-off Iran with the Ayatollahs still in power to a brand new and revitalized Persian state.
