US military and financial resources are diverted toward Israel. Oil prices go up, Russia, as a major oil exporter under sanctions, profits from higher energy prices. This helps fund its war effort and stabilize its economy, not to mention undermining Westerner’s moral credibility.
All of it is profitable for ending Ukraine faster.

irans actions are because they have a theocratic government that follows fundamentalist islam. Before 1979 iran had very good relations with israel. The only reason that iran hates israel is because they identify with islam and the wider ummah, and israel is seen as a place where a formerly oppressed group (jews) now own land that was once muslim land, which is an insult to islam. Actual iranian people have no reason to hate israel.
