Because it's cola made with brown sugar.
Brown sugar is better than regular sugar but it's still bad because as an industrial product they will take all/most of the beneficial minerals in it in order to purify it, not to mention the added up preservatives to delay spoilage.

Our tap water tastes good and is very clean. I am always slightly surprised when I go down to the continent, or elsewhere abroad, and the tap water tastes and smells of chlorine.

No, brown sugar is the sugar before going through the refining process, it's raw sugar from sugarcane, at least here in Brazil.
It lowers the consistency on sweets, so if you make candy with it, it breaks apart easily than regular sugar.

I live on an island and drinking tap water every day here is advised against because it's desalinized water or whatever. It's safe and you are not going to die for drinking it but supposedly it's not good for you long term.

I dug a hole in the ground in the middle of my farm, found water, then took the water for testing at the city, 99,8% pure with 0,02% beneficial mineral.
Added an automatic pump and connected every thing to my house, I have solar panels so I water my plants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and I bathe in the equivalent of bottled water without the added fluoride.
I bathe better and drink better water than a King in the Middle Ages, feelsgoodman.

this is because fluoride is naturally occurring iirc, depending on concentration you don't have to add more. it varies from country to country.

I have not idea, the risk of fluorosis already counters any alleged benefit it may or may not cause for dental hygiene.
The toothpaste I use that is without fluoride is made in Germany, the companies that make these products often label them as for kids so they can charge more for the product.

You get your fluoride in other ways.
